Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro were acquired by ARG in January 2025. This acquisition represents a natural fit between companies that share similar values and a passion for improving the health and well-being of those who rely on our products. Now we will be able to provide even more comprehensive solutions to the practitioners and patients we serve, with a specific focus on the increasingly important categories of stress management, mental wellness and resilience

Q Why are Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro products changing to Allergy Research Group (ARG) labels?

A Earlier this year, ARG brought Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro fully under the ARG family to create one unified brand. This means all Metabolic Maintenance, MethylPro and ARG products will now be available under a single trusted label for a broader offering to support mental wellness and resilience. This streamlines your experience—making it easier to find and order the products you love without having to navigate multiple brands or websites. You’ll only need one account to find the products you need in one order and shipped all together.

Q Will the Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro products still be manufactured in the same facilities?

A No. ARG has maintained or improved manufacturing standards and products will continue to be produced in certified cGMP facilities using the same, and in some instances more, rigorous testing standards. ARG maintains strict quality-control standards with an emphasis on being hypoallergenic, consistent, and stable. We remain committed to delivering professional-grade supplements you can trust.

Q Why did the bottles change from brown glass to HDPE?

A Earlier this year, we reached out to our customers to explore ways we could reduce our packaging and, by doing so, reduce our carbon footprint. What we heard was that this issue is as important to you as it is to us. Based on this feedback we took the following steps – Starting on October 1st, your products will be delivered in safe, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles which are industry-standard recyclable bottles and are free of BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, and allergens. In short, HDPE packaging is safer, lighter, more sustainable, and protective, without sacrificing quality.

Here’s how this change affects you and the environment:

• Better heat protection: Unlike glass, HDPE doesn’t transfer heat as easily. This helps protect sensitive nutrients and maintain stability, especially during hot weather and shipping. HDPE also has the benefit of being one of the most stable, least reactive materials for product packaging.

• More protection, less waste: Glass can chip or break during production and shipping, which leads to ruined products and delayed delivery and higher costs to you. HDPE bottles are durable, reducing the need for extra packaging by 50%-80% on average.

• Eco-friendly shipping & manufacturing: Glass is three times heavier than HDPE. Using lighter HDPE reduces fuel use and carbon emissions during shipping, and it also requires less energy to produce. HDPE is recyclable, commonly accepted in curbside recycling programs.

We understand this may feel like a big change, but please be assured—this change in packaging does not affect product quality in any way.

Q How will I recognize my favorite Metabolic Maintenance or MethylPro product under the ARG label?

A We’ve taken care to ensure that product names, strengths and formulas remain consistent. You will now see a small Metabolic Maintenance or MethylPro logo on the front panel of the ARG labels for a transition period to make it clear that these products were formerly Metabolic Maintenance or MethylPro products. If you’re shopping on the ARG website, we’ve also created Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro product “Collections” in the Products drop-down menu at the top of the website.

Q What benefits come with ARG’s unified brand?

A Unifying Metabolic Maintenance and MethylPro under ARG brings several advantages:

Q Will my existing product subscriptions or orders be affected?

A The only action required on your part is to be sure that you have updated your password and payment method. This is required to protect your privacy and the security of your financial information. Other than that, subscriptions and orders will continue seamlessly—over time, only the label and bottle will look different when your product arrives. We’ve also increased your ongoing subscription savings from 5% to 10% as a way of saying thank you for being a loyal subscriber—effective immediately. There’s nothing you need to do. Your additional savings will be applied automatically to every future subscription order.
